Vic and Judi here - we made it to Bangor by 5pm. We made a few stops along
the way such as Magnetic Hill and of course to take some photos of the great
scenery on the way.
Bangor appears to be a nice town and we had dinner at a place called the Sea
Dog. Judi had shrimp and I had baked scallops. I think they were the best
I ever had. As big as a quarter dollar.....yum.
Thanks again for your great place and hospitality. We will never forget our
stay.
We are off in the morning for Boston.

Hope
all is well with you and business is really beginning to boom.
I cannot believe its almost 2 weeks since we returned from Nova
Scotia to good ol' (bad ol'!) Toronto. I miss NS! We really
enjoyed our shhhhhhoooooort stay at your bed and breakfast and
the wonderful company you both gave us. I hope we can return
next year but I shall make a booking in advance next time!
Take care and once again thanks for your warmth. |

Vicki and I are still raving on about our terrific weekend
in Parrsboro and Port Greville. You made us feel so at home
and so relaxed, we didn't want to leave! Thanks for all the
great tips about places to see. Cape D'Or was windy and cool
[you were right about the jackets!] but spectacular to look
at. I had forgotten just how beautiful that drive down there
is. Darcy made us the best seafood chowder we have ever eaten.
To be sure, we both arrived home with a "warm, fuzzy
feeling",and totally refreshed.
I want to thank you both once again, for giving us such a
wonderful stay and we will definitely see you again! |
Warmest

and I met you folks in June when we stopped at your Country
Market and spent almost 2 hours looking, buying and enjoying
your company. We very much enjoy Arlene Collins' paintings that
we bought and it took the toss of a coin to decide which of
us would be the owner of which one. (Tom still jokingly claims
he wants a re-toss). |

Now that we have driven the Glooscap Trail, we have to agree
that Port Greville is indeed special and the prettiest village
there.

| Kathleen,
Erik & I wanted to send along our thanks for a wonderful
visit and for your super hospitality. The opportunity to stay
at Ebb Tide was indeed a surprise and was very pleasant.
You have done a super job in getting it right and it shows throughout
your home and the store. After we left your house we
traveled up the shoreline to Advocate Harbour and the lighthouse...
Wow, the cliffs were breathtaking and it turned out to be the
best weather day of our entire trip. The pictures I have are
truly spectacular. Everyone who I have shown them to says "where
is this wonderland?" Once again, thank you for the lovely
time you showed us. Your store and shop are works of love. Best
to you and maybe someday our paths will cross again. |

We would like to thank you so much for sharing your lovely
home with Art and I and Jeff and Natalie. We had a
wonderful time. We were so happy Natalie and Jeff invited
us. We had never seen that part of Nova Scotia before and
it is beautiful. We enjoyed ourselves so much. We stopped
on the way back and visited the cheese factory and Bass River
chair factory, and museum. Wonderful weekend. We will spread
the word. Thanks again. |

You were kind enough to let us use the bathroom in your home
on our visit to Nova Scotia. It was a pleasure meeting you
and your father. (I bought a book of his poems) He is a delightful
gentleman, and I am sure you treasure his being so close to
you. On our next vacation in Canada we will plan on spending
more time in Nova Scotia and can perhaps stay at The Ebb Tide.
Again, thanks for your hospitality and kindness. |

Many, many thanks for the friendliness, hospitality, extra
special, professional, and many other words of appreciation
that escape me at the moment, for our stay at the Ebb Tide
on the night of my retirement (april 27, 2002). Phyllis and
I have stayed at many establishments over the years, and in
all our travels we have never been made to feel as at home
and comfortable as the both of you made our stay. If this
were the Olympics......you would have a Gold Medal...hands
down. We will see you in the future. |

I
don't think I could say enough good things about my stay at
Ebb Tide. It is an absolute gem and an unbelievable
off-season bargain - by far the best lodging value I've ever
enjoyed.
But lodging is not the proper word. I felt as if I'd walked
into someone's home perhaps 50 years ago, someone with exquisite
taste in furnishings and a great respect for the intrinsic
beauty of the house. Gayle and Terry, your hard work in each
of your three properties there above the beach really shows
and thank you again for the wonderful hospitality. |

I really enjoyed staying at the house and really appreciated
you hospitality. I really feel as if I've been somewhere very
special, and the effects of the rest, the wonderful tidal landscapes
and the kindness are staying with me.
That's all for now. Once again, I want to congratulate you on
what you've achieved in Port Greville and thank you for your
kindness. It was a great day when I stopped for that cup of
coffee! |

| I
want to write to express my family's great delight in our visit
to your property. We had a wonderful time staying at Ebb Tide. We really enjoyed your company, particularly the insights
shared about the landscape and local areas. The memory of our
time in Port Greville is a rich one indeed. We were lucky to
have visited such a great place. Thank you for being such gracious
hosts. |

| We
want to thank you for your warm welcome and all your thoughtfulness.
The care and attention you have taken to provide such a high
standard of comfort and hospitality have made staying at the
Ebb Tide one of the most memorable of the B & B'S we have
visited. We especially enjoyed meeting your dad and getting
him to sign his latest book of poetry. Thanks again for everything. |
