Tall Ships. The Age of Sail Centre, overlooking the tidal
Greville River, pays tribute to the heritage of the communities
along the Minas Channel. History of lumbering and shipbuilding
are brought to life through pictures, videos, story telling,

The fossil cliffs of Joggins are a world-class palaeontological
site, and they have been designated a Special Place under
the Province of Nova Scotia's Special Places Protection Act.
Joggins is located near the head of the Bay of Fundy a short
drive from Port Greville.

The MV Kipawo was the oldest continually operating ferry
in Canada. Now on dry land, it is the home to the Ship's
Company Theater in Parrsboro, Nova Scotia. The theatre is

from Maritime writers.

Geological Museum
Discover an Ancient World and see some of the oldest dinosaur
bones in Canada. Meet some of the ancient creatures that
lived here millions of years ago - the world's first reptiles,
an ancestor of frogs, early dinosaurs, giant dragonflies
and a sow-bug-like creature as long as a baseball bat. So
many great fossils! Located in Parrsboro, Nova Scotia.
Golf
Parrsboro
The Parrsboro Golf Club is a challenging 9 hole, 2,343 yard,
par 33 course, situated on the shores of the Minas Basin & only
4 miles from Parrsboro. Golfers and visitors will enjoy a
spectacular view of Bay of Fundy. The course borders a 100
foot cliff to the beach below number #2 fairway and #3 tee.
Port
Greville Lighthouse
The lighthouse was built in 1907 and first lit with kerosene
in 1908. For many years it presided over a flourishing harbour
full of three masted schooners, busy tugs and log rafts.
After the age of sail it stood sentinel to the building and
launching of mine-sweepers during World War ll.

Ship – Mary Celeste
One of the great maritime mysteries is that of the Mary Celeste.
Over 125 years ago, the ship was found floating, crewless,
in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean, in apparent pristine
condition. The fate of the crew and passengers has never
been adequately explained. You can visit the ship's home
at Spencer's Island, a picturesque beachfront community east
of Port Greville.
